THOSE DOGS WERE LEFT BY HUNTERS IN THE CITY DOG POUND OF TUDELA…
to skinny to walk or run, tired and with no life left in here eyes… that is ROSY… the hunter brought her to the shelter with the words: i want to give them in adoption!!
the fawn dog was so sick, with several old fractures in the hip pelvis area and he could barly ley down and was in pain, the animal rescue people had to let him cross the rainbow bridge but ROSY will make it!!!
LUKY, an rough haired galgo, brought to the killingstation 2 days ago
also this little shy boy was left to be killed…
and that’s how ROSY was brought there….
ROSYS owner said: I cant understand why they are so thinn, they always had water and bread available”

The eyes of the dog in the last picture tell the whole story, thank god they are now safe and will finally know love and kindness, thank you so much for saving them, prayers for the little one who has gone to the bridge, free from pain and suffering,he too felt a loving hand before he was released from his pain. When oh when will this ever stop.?

Comment by Anna Hollingsworth April 29, 2009 @ 12:52 pmI began to send money to help the galgos and that would not stop my grief and pain. Cristina Garcia Moreno sent me fotos of 3 galgos for adoption here in the NYC area, two fosters were adopted near Madrid. The last foto was a fostered and carefully tended girl with each bone in her spine showing and her skin hanging terribly after so much care, she had been used by gypsies for years to make more unfortunate puppies. Her ears were cut and knife wounds still show. But today, she looks beautiful, even though she is about ten, her skin is tightening, her coat beautiful and she runs and gambles outside and is so obedient, the perfect pet. I still suffer to see the atrocities, but doing something by adopting has helped me. By the way I have another galgo, a small male rescued from hanging, although morelively he stays close to me and loves his home and family. These angels have blessed me
