MOTHER GALGA AND PUPPIES IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP

10 Jan

A galga has been seen several times recently in need of urgent veterinary treatment for a severe case of mastitis, an infection of the mammary glands. She also has a thin rope tied around her neck which is just visible in the photos.

This galga is living in a cave with her puppies. She originally had 10 but since the first sighting 3 have been taken by travelers and another is seriously ill.

We desperatley want to catch this girl and her young family and get them to safety but unfortunately there simply isnt anywhere to take them as all the shelters are full. This family needs urgent help but there is little we can do without the support of a shelter. We will simply have to wait until we can find space.

UPDATE

This family has now been caught and taken to a shelter in Alicante where they are receiving veterinary treatment and getting some well deserved TLC.

That is such wonderful news that the lovely galga and her
puppies are now safe in a shelter. Bless the shelter for taking
    them.
