REMEMBER PODENCA “RESU”?

30 May

SHE MADE IT!!! from skinny girl with broken hind leg …. to the sofa-princess with a fable for “human food” 😉 (check below for her story)

the surgery vas successfull, thanks to our vet Marcel, and RESU starts to use her leg. she still suffers from the atrophiated muscles but we de daily physiotherapy with her. 3 times 20 exercises and it works.

sleepy RESU in my bed, not yet ready to get up!

"ALGUIEN HA DICHO DESAYUNO?"
but as soon as she  hears the door of the kitchen, the expression in her face changes and she starts already licking her mouth, lol

she is obsessed with  home made food and refueses to eat dog food. she eats one chicken per day, with vegetables, pasta and now her bloodtests are perfect, she is not anemic anymore

AQUI PODEIS VER COMO APOYA LA PATA Y TAMBIEN COMO ENGORDO 7KG
here you can see how she starts usung her leg again!!! :-)
ES GUAPA O NO ES GUAPA???
her favourite place, where she can observe all the livingroom!
isn’t she beautifull???
thanks to all of you for donating for RESU, without all your help we could not have helped her!!!!
ps: she arrived with 18kg here, now she weighs over 25kg 😉
she was found heavely pregnant, famished and with a badly broken leg. she was totaly bloated because of the accident, the puppies had died in her womb and she was already suffering the consequences of a septicemia. during the emergency cesarian, her heart stopped 3 times but the vets managed to bring her back to life. She was called RESU from resurecction. WHAT A FIGHTER OUR PODENCO GIRL!

This is a marvelous story about a survivor. I wish I could have been a part of it. But reading about all the help RESU got and gets is a good reward for me.

Wonderful people you are to have brought her this far.

    She is looking good.
