Thank you so much for all the work you are doing for these lovely dogs. Saw your stall at Bristol Vegan Fayre
I don’t know if you have checked it out already but The Dogs Trust have massive fayres (3rd August in Leeds) every year around the country where thousands of dog lovers come and it would be great to have a stall for publicity and fund raising purposes for you. Ive no idea if they would agree to this but do let me know and I will see if we can organise a group to go with a stall but we would need publicity stuff from you to give out/sell on the day.

Hello, I have come to know of these dogs through the Coventry Greyhound Club and find them facinating.
I took on a ten year old lurcher two years ago through the Dogs Trust, he has been an inspiration to all of us in the family. He loves everybody, other dogs and sleeps on my bed with my cat Sam.
I can only but think that a Galgos would be a fantastic companion for Ben and would love to know the possibility of adopting one.
Can you tell me if any of these dogs are rehomed in Britain – please say yes!!

How would one in the U.S. go about adopting one of these Galgos in need? Please give me details including shipping costs. I am a responsible owner of 2 Italian Greyhounds and have a fenced yard and lots of love to give. I have great vet references and references from the Greyhound Pets of America in Missouri, United States. Thanks

Hi I was looking at your site and wondered if you could help me or send me in th right direction. I live in Spain (Alicante) and have recently found a Galgo, sarving and in very bad shape he had been sleeping in th orange groves for quite some time, me nd my husband after an hour lots f coaxing and many faie attepts won his trust and managed to put a roap round him and tok him in our van home. He has been cheaked by our vet and part from being vey undernurished is ok. He is about 2 yearsold, tan colour VERY friendly and calm gets on with othr dogs and cats! The problem is we our going back o the UK just fter xmas and ee to find him a home. I have asked around the local animal rescues but to no avail and have heard some horror stors about Galgo rescue kennels. I would rely appreciate if through your exeperience you could give me any informtion about good galgo resuce centers that i can contact.
I realy hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you so much for the wonderful work you do.
I live in the U.S., and found your site through a link. I own a rescued greyhound who is my best friend (she could try to learn spanish for a new sibling!). Is it possible to adopt out to the states?
    Thank you.

You have a really lovely website. These dogs are so misunderstood in Spain. I spent 3 years there in Alicante and came across so many sad stories. These dogs ask for so little. Can you see about getting this site linked to facebook? It may help, especially with the adoption side of things, as you could send updates via facebook. Keep up the good work and well done. Max

I had the opportunity to interview a lady that fights for your cause. You can see the video here:
If you wish to share this, please do.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

I’ve been trying to contact regarding taking on a rescue later this year but for some reason, I keep getting an error message when I try Mo’s email. I am not sure if you are having some issues?
I will be sending an email to Elkie but Mo will not be recieving one.
